with a little care will last at least a week. A rose bouquet should be unwrapped and placed in a vase of clean water, as soon as is practical. The water needs to be changed regularly, preferably with flower food added to prevent bacteria build up and the rose stems re-cut at an angle periodically with a sharp knife. Rose arrangements should be topped up daily - roses are surprisingly thirsty - and kept away from drafts and heaters.
